The IDT Streaming Board offers some new and innovative features for the radio broadcast of tomorrow.

Audio streaming of your processed signals over IP in UDP packet format to a unicast or multicast destination, to a distribution server for internet radio distribution (support for the most common distribution servers) or to another IDT product. Take advantage of the “all in one box” solution of processing + audio streaming over IP in a single 19 inch rack.

The card comes with two independent audio encoders and one audio decoder MPEG-4 AAC-LC, AAC-HE V1, V2 and MP3 MPEG-1&2 Layer 3.

Configured as a decoder, the card provides an IP audio input to your machine – incoming streams can be decoded and inserted to the machines process for the FM multiplex. You can use the IP input as a backup source for the digital or analog input.

In encoder configuration, the two independent audio encoders can encode the processed signal in two different qualities/formats and send the two streams up to four destinations.

With its SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) interface your IDT processor can be controlled by any SNMP Manager.

The cards MIB is stored in the onboard memory of the card and can be accessed over FTP.

The different plugins “Audio Encoding” and “Stream Decoding” allow you to configure the card individually.
